Art Group again today

It's good to get out and paint with friends and fellow artists. We can chatter and look at each others paintings and offer our thoughts on them. We put our masks on and walk around, looking at what others are getting up to. We used to do that at coffee break, but can't do that now, though someone did raise their mug to their mouth then remember they had a mask on, and laugh at themselves. I have to put my coffee one side and my paint water the other. It's a common occurance for artists to dip a brush into the coffee. I've never picked my paint water up to sip, yet.

Today I started a seascape with colourful sky and reflections on the sea and beach. It's on a largish canvas and I made a good start. It's out of my head, mostly, though I have seen some beautiful sunsets and sunrises recently, with blue, grey and orange, and thought what a lovely painting they would make. I must photograph the painting, at this early stage, and then again, as it progresses.
